Apple ][ ROM Visualizer

Description

This page and it's simple script are intended to allow you to view the contents of a 4096 or 8192 byte ROM by parsing and displaying the first 1024 bytes in a 16 x 16 grid of (hopefully) bit mapped characters.

The remaining half of a standard 4096 byte ROM are the bit patterns for color lores graphics, and while the contents of 8192 byte ROM contains 2 copies (usually domestic and US language characters) this script isn't set up to display them.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

If you wish to post the image of your ROM, you *MUST* download it and then upload it to a hosting site. Attempting to hotlink to this image will give you a black square as it's dynamically generated.
